The Choose France Tour 2023 will bring you face-to-face with representatives of more than 50 leading French educational institutions, including universities, Grandes Ecoles, and colleges offering programs in various fields such as management, engineering, hospitality, arts, and more. You will have a unique opportunity to share your CV and receive free counseling, directly from the schools, on how to apply next year. You will also get to know about the scholarships and financial aid available for Indian students who wish to study in France.

The event will also feature thematic sessions by French experts on topics such as student life in France, visa procedures, career opportunities, and more. You will also get a chance to interact with alumni who have studied in France and learn from their experiences. Moreover, you will discover the cultural and linguistic diversity of France and its regions through various activities and workshops.

The Choose France Tour 2023 is part of the ambitious roadmap adopted by the leaders of India and France to strengthen their strategic partnership in the fields of education, research, innovation, and culture. The goal is to host 30,000 Indian students for higher studies in France by 2030, which will mark the centenary of India’s independence and of the diplomatic relations between France and India.

The event was inaugurated in Delhi on October 13 by H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, the new Ambassador-designate of France to India. He expressed his enthusiasm for taking forward the bilateral cooperation between the two countries across all areas. He said that the Choose France Tour is an initiative of the French government to introduce Indian students with various prospects for pursuing advanced studies in France at top French institutes. He also highlighted the recent measures taken by France to facilitate the mobility and employability of Indian students and alumni, such as the creation of ‘international French classes’ and the introduction of a 5-year validity short-stay visa.

The Choose France Tour 2023 will take place in four cities as follows:

- Chennai: October 8 at Hyatt Regency from 2 PM to 6 PM
- Kolkata: October 11 at ITC Royal Bengal from 2 PM to 7 PM
- Delhi: October 13 at Hyatt Regency from 2 PM to 6 PM
- Mumbai: October 15 at Taj Mahal Palace from 11 AM to 4 PM
